What is a cookie?

Legislative Decree n.196 / 2003, Art. 24 - Cases in which data may be processed without consent
The consent is not required, as well as in cases provided for in Part II, when treatment:
It is necessary for compliance with an obligation imposed by law, regulation or legislation;
it is necessary to fulfill obligations arising from a contract which is a party or to fulfill, before the conclusion of the contract, to specific requests;
It covers data from public registers, lists, acts or documents available to anyone, subject to the limits and methods concerning the laws, regulations or Community legislation to establish the knowledge and publication of data;
concerns data relating to economic activities, processed in accordance with current legislation on corporate and industrial secret;
